Kid Rock made an unexpected visit to JBJ’s Nashville recently, but it’s a trip he might regret.

However, Rock’s abrupt departure might have dampened the mood.
Upon taking the stage, Rock received cheers from the audience as he and fellow musicians performed Creedence Clearwater Revival’s ‘Proud Mary’ from 1969.
A minute into the performance, Rock attempted to get the crowd to clap along, but when the response wasn’t enthusiastic enough, he grew irritated.
In a clip of the performance, he can be heard saying: “no f*** that, f*** them.”
He then instructed the band to stop and stated: “If you ain’t gonna clap we ain’t gonna sing, that is how this is going to work.”

This prompted some cheers, and the group resumed, with Rock encouraging the audience to clap along once more.
Yet, when the applause waned again, Rock declared: “You know what? F*** y’all. You ain’t gonna clap? I’m gone.”
He then left the stage abruptly.
A video of the incident is circulating on social media, with many criticizing Rock for his walk-off.

One Twitter user commented: “Tina he ain’t. They were clapping. Maybe if he packed some energy into that rendition people would’ve gotten more excited.”
Another remarked: “That says a lot more about him than the audience. It’s not 1998 anymore, what does he expect?”
