If you haven’t seen the image yet, you’re in for an odd journey as a result of a recent White House tweet that has created a stir online.
Things haven’t exactly gone his way, from his embarrassing back-and-forth tirade with Elon Musk to his attempts to ease tensions between Israel and Iran in the Middle East.
However, he is currently the target of intense internet trolling due to a peculiar post that the White House shared.

It all began when the official account posted a meme of Trump dressed as Superman, seemingly in an effort to capitalise on the buzz surrounding the upcoming film, which is scheduled for release today (July 11).
“THE SYMBOL OF HOPE. TRUTH. JUSTICE. THE AMERICAN WAY. SUPERMAN TRUMP”, the post reads above a picture of the president parodying the movie’s poster.
Trump’s face is superimposed on the torso of the superhero in the picture, who is dressed in the recognisable red and blue Lycra suit. His political rivals, however, reacted negatively to it right once. California Democratic Representative Robert Garcia responded, “He’s literally Lex Luthor.”
Political analyst Mehdi Hasan likened the response to Trump’s meme to what would have happened if Biden had followed suit.
They said, “Just imagine the response if the Biden White House had posted something like this. But Trump is graded on some kind of never-seen-before curve and this craziness is normalized.”
The fact that they were all asking the same question—Are you serious?—was such an odd sight to others.
AI creator Mario Pawlowski went on to comment about the origins of Superman, writing, “Superman was an illegal immigrant growing up on an American farm and a hero from a comic book. Trump is a total opposite of Superman, a Superloser.”
One person praised, “Trump isn’t just Superman – he’s a LEGEND. Most investigated man in human history by every alphabet agency, every prosecutor, every corrupt institution… and they found NOTHING. Meanwhile, they’re all terrified of what HE knows about THEM. That’s not just innocent – that’s untouchable. Superman doesn’t just fight villains – he exposes them.”
The meme had 18.8 million views in just 18 hours as commentators engaged in a heated debate on the thread, with insults flying from both sides.
