Fans Fear For Justin Bieber’s Mental Health After Sudden Name Switch And Mysterious Posts

After changing his name online, Justin Bieber’s activities alarmed many.

The singer of “Love Yourself” has recently made news for his actions, which include a purported online argument with his wife, Hailey Bieber.

Although the 31-year-old Bieber has always used his own name as his Instagram handle, he confused followers online on Thursday, June 26, when he changed his account name to “lilbieber” without providing any reason.

A day after uploading a post about receiving the “silent treatment,” the Canadian musician also shared a series of strange black-and-white posts after the shift.

Social media fans speculated that it might be connected to his marriage to Hailey Bieber, but nothing has been verified because his fans have been kept in the dark about it.

Some speculated that the musician changed his name as a nod to Lil B, a rapper from California who is well-known for songs like “Cooking Dance” and “Swag Like Ohio.”

In what appeared to be a prelude to the name change, Bieber captioned one of his pictures on June 24 with the words “lil bieber” and included basketball and padlock emojis.

In response to a post that revealed his new username, the artist addressed the fan comments.“We love to categorise and box people in and it’s hurting us,” he wrote, in yet another mysterious comment.

Under his new name, he has also shared other menacing photos with mysterious descriptions. One of these is a rare photo of his 10-month-old son, Jack Blues, with three standing men emojis in the caption.

Given that he and Hailey choose to keep their son largely hidden from the public, it is very unusual.

Following the release of several black-and-white self-portraits and context-free images, Bieber also shared an out-of-focus photo with nine monkeys as the caption, leaving fans perplexed.

A new account, set to private, emerged beneath the old @justinbieber handle after the modification

The strange actions follow the celebrity’s admission that he is “broken” in a post on his Instagram story on Monday, June 16.Writing online, he said, “People keep telling me to heal. Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself, I would have already?”

“I know I’m broken. I know I have anger issues…”

“I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them.”

“Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others,” the 31-year-old said, describing how “tired” and “angry” he was growing as he became “exhausted with thinking about myself.”

Bieber also made an unexpected remark regarding Mother’s Day in May of this year, which was Hailey’s first since giving birth to their son in August 2024.

“Love u moms but Mothers Day sucks a**,” he wrote on Instagram.Though she appeared to get her own back in a since-deleted comment, it appeared to be a jab at his wife.
It was posted on June 15, Father’s Day, with the caption, “Father’s Day sucks a**.”
